All Developing their IT knowledge through Focus

During the last 3 months the Focus project in South Holland has enhanced business knowledge of IT through a series of seminars.

Subjects so far include: Web Site Construction, E Commerce, Security and Getting the Best from your PC.

Lasting 1.5 hours, including a free lunch, these have been successful in giving an intensive burst of knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere and questions have flowed freely over a very wide range of topics.

More seminars are planned in Spalding, Long Sutton and Holbeach. These will cover topics already covered and specific programs such as Microsoft, XL. Plans are underway for tasters to more extensive training courses as well as interactive events about trading on the internet.

Additional benefits of networking associated with these lunchimes events has meant new orders for several attendees.

Business attending so far include: Butchers, Bakers, Architects, Internet Service Providers, Engineering Companies, Photographers, Contact Hirers, Garden Machinery Repairers, Seed Processors, Accountants, Food Producers, Care Homes, Insurers, Clothiers, Trainers, Designers, Web Designers and many more.

Although we are still looking for the Candle Stick Maker to complete our story!
