The Lincolnshire and Education Business Partnership  Important Changes in 14-19 education

Are you aware of the changes which are currently taking places in our secondary schools?

Do you  know about the 14 diplomas (known as lines of learning) which are being made available for young people?

Do you understand how The Young Apprenticeship programme works?

Do you realise that all 15/16 year olds are experiencing work related learning throughout their curriculum?

Do you know how much your local school needs your expertise?

Would like to know more about how these changes could benefit your company?

Use this as your opportunity to become involved in the way young people are prepared for work.
Work related learning helps students have a much better understanding of the workplace and enables them to know what to expect when they start their employment.
This should help cut down on the amount of retraining you need to do - if you have a student in your business you can mould them to your way of working from the beginning.
