Education Business Partnership
The Education Business Partnership supports the aims of the EBLO (Education Business Link Organisation) Consortium by providing quality partnership programmes which support raising standards for all. The Lincolnshire & Rutland EBP is the lead accountable body for the Lincolnshire & Rutland EBLO Consortium.
Partner Profile:
Our part of the Focus project is to work with local businesses to raise awareness of educational projects such as work experience, the new vocational Specialised Diplomas and Young Apprenticeships in order to prepare young people for employability and thus aid the recruitment, retention and employment of young people in the Focus area.
The Lincolnshire & Rutland Education Business Partnership works to encourage improved links between education and business. Through its programmes, the EBP provides young people with a wide range of high quality, relevant and structured experiences throughout their school careers, to meet the DfES learning outcomes of:
- Raising standards of achievement
- Improving pupil motivation and attendance
- Supporting management and leadership in schools and colleges
- Preparing young people for the world of work, including employability
- Enhancing the delivery key skills, including wider skills such as creativity and enterprise.
