Economic Regeneration “part of Lincolnshire County Council” recently identified that business support services in the District of South Holland were lagging compared to the rest of the County and the region as a whole.

Responding to this, and the `supporting business growth’ priority identified in the Lincolnshire Economic Strategy, the County Council’s Executive agreed to the development of long term relationships with delivery partners such as Success Matrix, the Chamber of Commerce and so on.

The product of this approach has been the formation of the `Focus on Business in South Holland’ project. Lincolnshire County Council as the lead partner, spear headed the scheme’s development. As well as providing a financial contribution to the scheme, the County Council was successful in securing a grant from the European Regional Development Fund.
