In addition to our role as overall co-ordinator of the Focus project, Success Matrix also delivers the Business Support Services package in South Holland. This includes information and guidance, networking opportunities, local events, training opportunities, funding information and mentoring support.

Focus Adviser 1 to 1 Business Support

The 1 to 1 Business Support is intended to try to help businesses identify areas in which they have potential to improve. This service is being provided by Reg Tibbitts, a Business Adviser with 20 years experience, who initially meets with the owner/manager and, through a fairly relaxed conversation, establishes the current ‘situation’ of the business, together with hopes, aspirations and potential.
 
From the meeting Reg produces a brief Situation Commentary summarising the information gathered and highlighting recommendations aimed at improving business efficiency and business competitiveness. These recommendations may focus on aspects such as: planning; financial management; marketing; utilisation of technology; etc. Where appropriate Reg will link the business into other support available FREE through the project.

In order to ensure effective progress Reg can provide guidance on Action Planning and by telephone/email as required and will undertake a follow up meeting with each business to see how they are making progress on recommendations and agreed next steps.
